A member of the Red Ravens team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. McCourt returns to Coffeyville to assist with the pitching staff.
A native of Shawnee, Kansas, McCourt played two years for Coffeyville Community College as a starter on the pitching staff. As a freshman, he was selected as a 2nd team all-conference pitcher. He then transferred to Big 12 School, Kansas State, before spending his last three years at the University of Central Oklahoma. At UCO, McCourt led the team in appearances out of the bullpen in 2016, before redshirting the next year due to an injury. He finished up in the spring of 2018 as a part of a team that won the MIAA regular season championship.
In the summer, McCourt spent his time coaching for the United Baseball Organization, out of Lafayette, Louisiana. He worked as a pitching rover for the entire organization.
McCourt graduated from Coffeyville Community College with an Associates in Arts Degree in 2015 and from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies.
