The Ravens took on the T-Birds of Cloud County. The Ravens started slow in a back and forth game taking a lead late in the first half. The Ravens came out of halftime hot forcing Cloud to commit a large amount of turnovers which ended up being their demise.
The Ravens started the game slow, giving Cloud the opportunity to stick with them. The Ravens boasted an impressive 29 rebounds in the first half, with 9 of those being offensive. Those offensive rebounds and an impressive 14 first half points and 10 rebounds from Miekkel Murray helped give the Ravens the lead at half, 37-30.
In the second half the Ravens came alive, looking more like their usual self. Sharing the sugar was the story of the second, the Ravens racked up 17 assists in the second half. Another key to the win was turnovers, Coffeyville forced cloud to commit 26 turnovers in the second half alone. With the high number of assist and forced turnovers the Ravens would take over the nest and get the win over the T-Birds, 81-68.
The Ravens are back in action again Monday February 11th, in Iola to take on the Red Devils of Allen County Community College.
