Great Bend, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Soccer Team was defeated in the first round of the Region VI Playoffs by the Cougars of Barton 3-0. With the loss, the Red Ravens ended their season with an overall record of 5-14.
Barton scored their first goal midway through the first half and was able to secure a second goal midway through the second half as well as a late goal to push the overall score to 3-0. Barton's sophomore defender Nina Norshie scored all three goals for the 'hat trick" for the Cougars.
Offensively, the Red Ravens were never really able to gain any traction as they were held to just four shots in the match.
