Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven baseball team earned a series sweep over the Highland Scotties, with both timely offense and strong pitching performances.

Strong pitching continued as sophomore Webb Fern spun a complete game shutout, finishing with seven strikeouts. Max Irwin and Shawn Bareno provided a spark in the middle of the lineup, combining for four hits and five runs batted in.

Rider King gave the Red Ravens five quality innings, earning his first victory of the season. The offense was a balanced attach, with Colton Ruedy, Brady Shackelford, Ethan Foley, Carson Beck, and Caden Riojas all finishing with two hits in the win.

Freshman Kamden Neal collected his first collegiate victory, allowing just two hits and one run in five innings of work. Max Irwin, Shawn Bareno, and Webb Fern all hit home runs for the Raven offense, while Kyle Provence reached base four times as well.
