Four Ravens Named All-Conference, Westendorp Co-Pitcher of Year
Coffeyville, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference has revealed the 2026 All-KJCCC East Division teams, with four Red Ravens making the list.
Starting pitcher Nicholas Westendorp was named co-pitcher of the year, along with Liam Roche of Johnson County. Westendorp is the first Pitcher of the Year winner for CCC this century. He made 15 appearances for the Ravens with seven starts, pitching to a 3.68 earned run average in 58.2 innings, including a 2.79 ERA in league play.
Three additional Ravens earned Honorable Mention all-conference: shortstop Kyle Provence, pitcher Webb Fern, and designated hitter Brady Shackelford.
Provence finished the season with a .355 batting average and 46 runs scored, including .422 in the month of April and .455 in the month of May.
Fern made seven starts for CCC, pitching 41.2 innings with a 4.97 earned run average. The sophomore struck out 45 batters and picked up four wins this season.
Shackelford was one of the conference's best DH's, hitting .288 with three home runs and 21 runs batted in.
Raven baseball finished the season 27-30, falling in a best-of-3 series to Seward County in the Region playoffs.
