Anthony Yancy enters his second season as Wide Receivers Coach at Coffeyville Community College, where he was promoted to Recruiting Coordinator following the 2025 season.

In his first season with the Red Ravens, Yancy helped lead one of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference’s top passing offenses. The wide receiver unit accounted for 40 percent of the team’s offensive touchdowns as Coffeyville finished the season ranked No. 7 nationally and placed second in the KJCCC. Under his guidance, wide receivers Jalie Bost and Khris Thomas earned Second Team All-KJCCC honors.

Yancy began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Angelo State University, where he worked primarily with the wide receivers while assisting in player development and offensive operations. Prior to coaching, Yancy was a standout wide receiver and return specialist at Angelo State. During his playing career, he earned two varsity letters while receiving numerous accolades, including All-American honors, First Team All-Conference recognition, and selection to the Daktronics All-Super Region Four Team. He also set the program’s single-game kickoff return record with 195 return yards and averaged 95.3 all-purpose yards per game during his career.

A native of Fresno, California, Yancy earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Education in Coaching & Sport Administration from Angelo State University.
