Dodge City, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Soccer Team played the Dodge City Conquistadors to a 1-1 draw. With the draw, the Red Ravens' overall record moves to 4-3-4, including a 0-1-4 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference matchups.
Dodge City opened the scoring late in the first half, with David Garcia converting unassisted at 33:52 to give the Conquistadors a 1-0 lead. Coffeyville responded in the second half, pressing offensively to find an equalizer. Their persistence paid off when freshman Amin Jouali netted the equalizer at 87:48, assisted by Ivanytskyy Lev and Diego Mejia, earning the Ravens a valuable point in the standings with the draw.
On the stat sheet, Coffeyville demonstrated a strong defensive effort, limiting Dodge City to just 8 shots, with 4 on target, and forcing several turnovers.
