Raven Softball Splits Conference Doubleheader with Neosho County
Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven softball team split a Saturday doubleheader at Byers Field against the Neosho County Community College Panthers, their first conference home games of the 2026 season. The Red Ravens won the opening game 3-1 and dropped the second game 9-6, moving their season record to 10-12, and 2-2 in KJCCC play.

The Ravens took the opening game of the day, behind a quality start from freshman Gabrielle Simmons. The pitcher went six innings, allowing just one run and striking out three. At the plate, Coffeyville was led by two hits from Madeline Biswell, and RBI hits from Emma Lara, Simmons, and Kaylee Henderson.

The Panther bats got going in the second game of the day, finishing with nine runs and 14 hits in a 9-6 victory. Coffeyville tied the game in the bottom of the fifth, thanks to a 2-run home run from Emma Lara. Raya Eilert and Katelynn Siess both reached multiple times in the loss as well.
Coffeyville will be back in action Tuesday, March 31st, in a home doubleheader against Eastern Oklahoma State College, a makeup from an earlier postponed date.
