The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Soccer Team opened up their 2024 season with a 5-1 loss at Rose State College in Midwest City Oklahoma.
The Rose State Raiders jumped out quickly, scoring the match's first three goals to take a 3-0 halftime lead. Coffeyville sophomore midfielder Lucy Staines scored an unassisted goal early in the second half to pull the Red Ravens within a 3-1 score, however, the Raiders netted the last two goals of the match to post the 5-1 victory.
Coffeyville will open their home portion of their schedule on Wednesday, August 28th as they will host the Grizzlies of Butler Community College. Kick-off at Veterans Memorial Stadium is set for 7:00 p.m.
